So, you’re probably wondering who we are. That’s a good question. Maybe we should start by telling you that we’re pretty passionate about letterpress and beautiful paper. Beautiful 100% tree-free, mould-made cotton rag; to be exact. And you also might like to know that we love everything about weddings and celebrations; the details, the flowers, and everything else it takes to make a beautiful event come together.
The passion comes pretty easy to us. Our owner, Jodi, is a luxury wedding and social event planner in Michigan. She owns a company called In Any Event by Jodi Bos, LLC and works with some of the most discerning clients. The affairs she plans are elaborate and exquisite and she leaves no detail undone. She dreamed of Gwyneth Paige as a way to offer her clients a more custom approach to their invitation suites. In turn, she knew she couldn’t keep it for herself, she had to share it with you!
Then there’s our Creative Director, Jillian. What can we say? She's kind of a design genius! And it comes so easily to her. Jilly, as we lovingly refer to her, can draw and design like no one's business. She amazes us with her 'quick sketches,' as she likes to call them. We, however, think they're mini-pieces of art. Jilly has this innate ability to put on paper exactly what swims around in Jodi's head. We're not quite sure how she does it but we're pretty sure it's a gift! Professionally trained in textile and apparel design at Michigan State University, Jillian's soft, romantic style perfectly meshes with the Gwyneth Paige style. And we're so, so lucky to have her!
Next is the newest member of our team, Sarah. Sarah is our Client Coordinator and she's the dynomo behind the great voice that will greet you on the telephone when placing an order. Sarah's excitement and enthusiasm for our clients and for this company is infectious! Sarah not only works with our clients but she also spearheads our marketing and social media efforts. We're not quite sure how we survived without Sarah as long as we did!
Finally, but of course most importantly, there’s our Billing Manager, Betsy. A good name for her would be 'Ms. Processes and Procedures.' Betsy is continually dreaming up new ways to better and more efficiently run the office. She's kind of a whiz at it. She truly keeps the creative ones {ahhemm - Jodi and Jillian} as organized as she possibly can. And the office is a better place because of her.
So there you have it. The story about us. It really is a simple story of a group of girls obsessed with letterpress who followed a dream and all of its possibilities. We hope you’ll be a part of that dream, too!
What’s In A Name?
We’re asked quite often how we came up with the name Gwyneth Paige. It’s a fun little story. You see, when Jodi was pregnant with her second child, she and her husband selected Seth Andrew and Gwyneth Paige as the potential monikers. On October 27, 2003, a healthy baby boy was born and lovingly named. As much as she adored the name Seth Andrew, she couldn’t get Gwyneth Paige out of her mind and had to find a use for it. When it came time to name this special letterpress company, there were no other options. In a lot of ways, this company is her third child and that’s why the name felt so right to all of us!
