Country music, the outdoors, and summer just seem to be the ultimate combination.

And with Birthday Bash coming to West Michigan recently, this combo has definitely been on our mind a lot. As a result, we’ve been thinking about what it takes to create beautifully romantic, rustic, letterpress wedding invitations.

You certainly need to use plenty of tans, browns, and other earth tones. But it seems that the best rustic invitations also make sure to mix materials. This could be anything from using burlap, to hemp, to wood veneer, or even cork veneer!

These invitations have certainly mastered that rustic look and truly would make perfect summer wedding invitations.

The world can sometimes seem like a blank page. But it never stays that way.

Often it’s the same way with letterpress design. We start with a blank space, but it often ends up that the backgrounds of our designs get filled up. Just think about Adaline, Amelia, Charlotte, Claire, Elisabeth, and Monroe—to name a few! We love creating new, fun ways to fill up invitations.

We also love some of these other letterpress backgrounds too. They’ve certainly got us thinking about what to do for some future additions to our collections!
