Tuesday Shoesday - Kimchi Blue T-Strap Heel at Urban Outfitters

Tuesday? Tuesday?! Where in the world did you come from? You are like a ninja Mr. Tuesday. Especially so directly following a holiday weekend.  I’ll have to say sir, you almost had me fooled.  I almost posted as if it were a Monday instead of our beloved Tuesday Shoesday.  Thankfully, Abby made the mistake first (sorry Abs!) so I didn’t follow suit.

My pick this week is the pair of shoes I trotted around in on Sunday at Urban Outfitters. We have one in Syracuse now and I swear I’ve been there a dozen times since they opened in mid-August.  They carry Kimchi Blue shoes and I have been coveting a pair of t-strap heels for a while now.

Images by Urban OutfittersThe heel isn’t too high and neither is the price.  These adorable t-straps did manage to find a way into my shopping bag (along with a coveted pins & needles scarf thank to my Mother-in-law!!)

Cake bunting by Kiki La Ru

First things first, there needs to be a HUGE thank you to Carolyn of Serendipity and Spark who opened the cake bunting Pandora’s box by introducing me to Kiki La Ru.  Thank you!

I had no idea, before yesterday, how badly I need cake buntings in my life.  They are darling.  So quaintly beautiful and the perfect addition to a vintage wedding, an autumn celebration or a loved ones birthday!

Tuesday Shoesday - A Shabby Apple wish-list

Hello Tuesday Shoesday! Since we are in the middle of “Birthday Week” here at Gwyneth Paige, and today happens to be my entrance into my last year of my twenties, I’ve put together a mini birthday shopping spree from the Shabby Apple.  (One of my all time favorite daily dress shops!)

Images from the Shabby Apple

1. Zany shoes.  As much as I would like more color in my wardrobe, I have a hum-drum assortment of blacks, greys, navys and earth-tones. Therefore I usually buy loud, bright, happy shoes to compensate for my lack of color.  These adorably pink flats with their big buckle could easily make their way to an “Andrea staple shoe."

2. Dahlia bag.  The purse I currently use (yes, I only have one) is my amazing $5 clearance steal from Target.  While I love my plain black bag, I would love something with character.  I adore the Dahlia bag, even if she is a bit out of my price range.

3. Sheep Meadow dress.  This dress.  Oh, this dress.  How this dress and I have flirted for a year now.  She bats her eyes at me.  I smile slyly at her.  I think, how in just a few more pounds lost, I’ll buy her.  I’ll wear her every day.  Just a few more pounds.  Since this is my birthday wish-list, I wish I could have her anyway.  Even if it is just to twirl around in my bedroom.

Anthropologie themed first birthday by Sarah K Chen Photography

I adore Sarah K Chen photography.  I’ve included her work in posts twice already.  She makes me swoon.  Since we are still knee deep in birthday week, I wanted to post Sarah’s daughter, Ellie’s first birthday.  This Anthropologie inspired sweetness of pink and grey made me melt last year when I saw it.  It is in my folder bookmarked for Maddox’s birthday in hopes I can gleam all the wonderment from her party and translate it into mine.

How to throw a crafty party, without being crafty

Acme Party In A Box.  The single best invention for people like me.  Crafting is in my heart, runs through my veins, feeds my soul.  Yet, alas, it does not reach my fingers.  I stumble and I falter and I cannot seem to make all the incredible things that are in my mind.

That is where Acme’s party in a box comes in.  They have lovingly crafted eco-concious party do-dads, banners, invitations and the like.

All photos via AcmeLook at the amazingness that comes in these themed boxes of children and adult parties.  They even do CUSTOM PARTIES!!  I love, love, love you, Acme.
